Over the past few years, our soccer club has experienced incredible growth and expansion, thanks to the dedication and passion of our players, coaches, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters like you. As we continue to evolve and strive for excellence, we are excited to announce a significant milestone in our journey: SKY Soccer Club is seeking a full-time Executive Director to lead us into the future.
As you may know, our Board of Directors is completely volunteer and most of our staff positions are part-time, and the addition of a dedicated Full-time professional resource will have a significant impact on the advancement of our organization.
This decision didn't come lightly, as we recognize the investment in this new role. Rest assured, the decision to bring on a full-time Executive Director was made after careful consideration and thorough strategic and financial planning over the last few years. Here's why we believe this step is essential for the continued success and sustainability of our organization.
Meeting the Needs of Our Growing Community:
As our club has grown, now the largest soccer club in Kentucky, so too have the demands and complexities of managing its operations. We are operating programs in Butler, Logan, Ohio, Simpson, and Warren counties, with additional expansion on the horizon. These communities have sought out SKY Soccer Club’s leadership to help grow the game in our region.
Our scholarship and outreach programs, such as Get On The Bus, have made great impacts on the underserved members of our community, and require both financial and operational support to continue to enhance and grow.
A full-time Executive Director will provide the leadership and strategic vision needed to navigate these opportunities effectively, ensuring that we continue to meet the needs of our members and provide high quality soccer experiences.
