MORE INFO:

SKY Academy ID is an open house for all players ages U6 and up that may have interest in our Academy Program (U9+) or for our Junior Academy Youth Development Program (U7-U8). Our Player Development Pathway and Program and more information about these programs can be found at www.skysoccer.org/programs.

Academy ID sessions give players and parents a chance to meet some of our SKY Academy Select coaching staff and experience a fun and technical training session, like those our Academy Select players have twice per week. There is no cost to participate in an Academy ID session.

This is not a tryout, and is simply a great way to get out and play for an hour in an age and developmentally appropriate under the guidance of a professional coaching staff.

This Spring we’re excited to have our Academy ID sessions led by Coach Zach Salchli. Coach Zach holds a USSF “C” License and United Soccer Coaches National Diploma. He coaches two SKY Academy Select Teams (U12 and U18), he is the Director of our Pre-Academy Program and is a Kentucky Olympic Development Program Staff Coach.

We will have a question and answer session with Steve Henson, our Director of Coaching to address any questions you may have about our Junior Academy and Academy Select Programs.

There will be no parents allowed to coach their players during the sessions as this is a time for players to have fun and allow the staff to evaluate and guide them through activities. Please have players wear shin guards, bring a soccer ball, and plenty of water! We look forward to seeing everyone out on the fields!
