Jason Neidell has been the WKU Women's Soccer head coach for 22 seasons and is the only head coach in WKU Women's Soccer history. He will assume the role of Director of College Advising and support our Academy Select players and their families through their path to college soccer.

“I wanted to take a quick opportunity to introduce myself as the new Director of College Advising for SKY Soccer. I have lived in the Bowling Green community for over 20 years and been involved in the college game for more than 30, first as a student-athlete myself and then as a long-time Division 1 coach. My wife Kara is very active in the community, and our daughter Quinn is a SKY player. My role within the club is to provide education, insight, and resources into the process of helping our athletes find the right college fit. I am excited to get started and look forward to getting to know you through this process.”

Seth Junion joined the Lady Topper Soccer staff as an assistant coach in February of 2022. He comes after spending the 2021 season at Bellarmine University as an assistant coach under former WKU assistant, Chris Tinius. Seth will also be coaching our U18/19 Girls teams here at SKY.

We’re so excited to add Seth to our staff with his primary focus being on developing our Goalkeepers. Coach Junion’s passion and drive for continuous improvement will be a huge asset to SKY.

“I’m very excited to be tackling this role with something I’m so passionate about. Expanding my involvement in the community with soccer and especially with the Gk community is a wonderful way to align my core values with SKY’s. I’m super thankful to SKY’s staff and everyone I’ve met through the club so far who continue to be so welcoming and help me spread the word about enjoying life as a GK!”

-Seth Junion - Director of Goalkeeping

Our Academy players’ development and pathway whether that be High School, College or Professional is a top priority. We believe we offer the highest quality player development platform, pathway and resources for players of all ages and abilities in Southern Kentucky.

“We are extremely proud to have the entire WKU Women's Soccer Coaching Staff joining SKY Soccer in director and coaching staff roles. Their decades worth of Division 1 college experience will provide a wealth of knowledge and development to all of the players at SKY”. - Steve Henson, SKY Director of Coaching
