It's time for another awesome Recreational Soccer season at SKY Soccer Club. While our Club was organized in 1979, this year we are BIGGEST SEASON YET and delivering quality soccer programs for the youth in our community. Operating a recreational soccer program with over 2300 participants annually would not be possible without the more than 150 volunteer coaches each season graciously giving their time to provide a great experience for the youth in our community. This season we’re calling on everyone to consider helping deliver a fun and rewarding recreational soccer program. Our Club’s mission is to develop great players and people, so it’s not just about soccer. We will give you the tools to handle the soccer part, if you’re willing to invest a couple of hours per week to help foster a FUN, FAIR and SAFE environment for these kids. Here’s a breakdown our programs and what volunteering looks like: Pre-Academy: All Pre-Academy sessions are designed and guided on the field by a licensed SKY Soccer Coaching Staff. All we need is a Coach/Manager to help teams of 6-8 players stay organized in practice sessions and games and most importantly enthusiastically give players excessive positive encouragement (too easy, right?):
3U-4U: 1 hour per week
5U-6U: 2 hours per week
Recreational:
7U-18U: 2 hours per week

In alignment with US Youth Soccer and Kentucky Youth Soccer Association, SKY Soccer Club is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all of our players, so all volunteers interacting with our kids are required to complete a background check and online Risk Management Training. You will receive details about Risk Management after completing registration. We are always in need of volunteers for community outreach and other events, whether that be set-up, teardown, or working an event in various capacities.
