SKY Soccer Club and BG ELITE FC Partner to Strengthen Competitive Academy Soccer in Southern Kentucky

SKY Soccer Club and BG ELITE FC are proud to announce a strategic partnership that unites two of the area’s leading soccer organizations, with a shared commitment to building the region’s strongest Academy program. This collaboration enhances the competitive pathway for players seeking higher-level leagues, championship opportunities, and college exposure, while continuing to provide the state’s largest recreational soccer platform.

A Community focused Vision for competitive Academy Excellence

This partnership is designed to bring our local soccer community together to further elevate the Academy program into a premier destination for ambitious players in the region. By combining the community’s top soccer players and coaches under a shared player development approach, the enhanced SKY BG Elite Academy program will provide:

• Stronger Teams at Higher Levels – More competitive squads capable of winning at state and regional levels, while consistently competing in top leagues.

• Pathway to College and Beyond – Enhanced visibility and opportunities for players aspiring to play at the collegiate level, with coaching and program support geared toward long-term development.

While the Academy program is the focus of this partnership, SKY Soccer will continue to lead the state in quality soccer program offerings, serving more than 3,000 players annually across recreational, competitive, camps, and indoor programs. Our player pathway for players of all abilities, ages 2 through adult, will continue under the Club’s single mission of “Developing Great Players and People.”

Leadership and Next Steps

A joint leadership team, with representation from both SKY Soccer and BG Elite, will oversee the integration of competitive academy programs. Supplemental tryouts and registration details will be announced soon!
