We need your help to drive sponsorships for our players in need. As our community continues to grow, the need for high quality youth sports opportunities is ever growing as well. We’re seeing and feeling this growth as the largest soccer club in the state of Kentucky, and largest youth sports organization in the area, with over 2200 participants per year.
Operating through our core values of COMMUNITY, CHARACTER and COMMITMENT, we remain committed to our community and provide the best possible soccer programs and experience to youth players of all ages, abilities, and economic backgrounds. We do this through some of the lowest registration fees in the country and delivering opportunities through our scholarship program.
Each year SKY awards thousands of dollars in player scholarships to families that would otherwise be unable to have their children participate in high quality recreational and competitive youth programs. We do this by fundraising through our tournaments (our largest fundraisers), donations, and community and corporate sponsorships. These same fundraising activities are also how we subsidize all registration fees and keep them as low as possible for all players.
To be blunt, we need more. We have many skilled soccer players in our club that deserve to play at higher levels of competition. They deserve to gain additional life experiences and exposure to bigger opportunities such as college scholarships, through high level competitive soccer.
As a Club we are always investing everything we can into the players, and making sure no player is turned away. We have so many program resources throughout our player and programs pathway including our Academy Select program such as: an amazing coaching and technical staff; a strategic soccer partnership with the LouCity/Racing Louisville Academy and Professional club; an experienced Director of College Advising; and the respect and collaboration amongst soccer clubs and people in the soccer community.
What we need is additional financial support for some of our Academy Select players that have earned opportunities through their hard work on the field, but lack financial resources. We have more players playing on our teams in state and regional leagues gaining exposure to college and professional scouts, and the costs to participate at these levels weigh heavily on these players' ability to continue their journey through soccer.
We’re asking for your help! If you, your business, the company you work for, are able to sponsor an individual player, we have players that are in need. If you’d like to be a club level donor or sponsor we can allocate the funds directly to our scholarship funds. SKY Soccer Club is a nonprofit organization and all donations are tax deductible. In return for your generous donation, we will gladly highlight your business on our social media platforms to be seen by our audience of over 4,000 followers!
