SKY Welcomes Coach Cory Dan to the Program

SKY Soccer is excited to announce the addition of Cory Dan as our new Youth Academy Director. He comes to us from Kings Hammer, as one of their youth academy coaches from 2014-2017. Prior to that he was at Cincinnati United coaching the U8 and U9 girls teams from 2012-2014.

As a player he played for Cleveland Internationals and German Family Society. He also went on to play club soccer at the University of Cincinnati, and was a 2 year captain.

We asked Cory his personal coaching philosophy and this is what he had to say: “Being confident with the ball, will allow players to show creativity and express themselves in a truly player centric game. Have fun, play hard, and compete. You’ll create a life long love for the beautiful game.”

He holds the USSF National “C” License, NSCAA Goal Keeper I and II, and his Coerver Youth Diploma. He is enrolled to take his USSF National “B” License in 2018.

Cory’s new roles and responsibilities will include overseeing our new Youth Development Program (YDP) as well as overseeing our U9 boys and girls Travel teams/Academy program.
